Turnitin is an online service that can find and highlight matching or unoriginal text in a paper or other written assignment. By matching submitted texts against its database, Turnitin generates an Originality Report, which is used by instructors to flag potential plagiarism for closer review. The Originality Report summarizes and highlights matching text. For more information, please visit the library's Turnitin FAQ
